1、 The shipping market is experiencing a roller coaster like surge
Affected by the ongoing Red Sea crisis and the replenishment wave in the North American market, global shipping prices began a crazy upward trend in late May. The latest monitoring data shows that the price of 40 foot containers on the US West Coast route has exceeded the $6000 mark, skyrocketing by more than 30% compared to early May, setting the largest monthly increase in nearly two years.
The latest price adjustment plan of mainstream shipping companies:
▶ EVA Shipping: Starting from May 23rd, with two additional price adjustments, the cumulative increase reaches $2200 per container
▶ Dafei Shipping: On June 1st, the US Western Line jumped $6100 and the US Eastern Line jumped $7100

The US West Coast route surged 31.7% in a single week to $3091/FEU
