On the afternoon of December 22, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce issued Announcement No. 83 for 2025, announcing the preliminary ruling on the anti-subsidy investigation of imported dairy products originating from the European Union!
The announcement stated: Preliminary evidence indicates that imported dairy products originating from the European Union are subject to subsidies, which have caused substantial damage to related domestic industries in China, and there is a causal relationship between the subsidies and the substantial damage. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Anti-Subsidy Regulations of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Commerce issued a preliminary ruling announcement on December 22, 2025, determining the ad valorem subsidy rates of EU companies to be 21.9%-42.7%, and decided to implement provisional anti-subsidy measures.
The aforementioned anti-subsidy duties were announced on December 22 and will take effect from December 23!
